Abstract

Introduction: Patient satisfaction is a function of several factors which require a supportive cooperation of the nursing staff, physicians and other related organizations. The aim of this study was to determine the satisfaction level of pationts in Bandar Abbas educational hospitals in 2015. Methods: This descriptive- analytical study conducted on 400patients admitd in different wards of the educational hospitals of Bandar Abbas. Patients were selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire developed by the researcher. The collected data were analyzed via SPSS 19. Results: The participants aged between 17 and 60 years including 238 (5/59%) women and 162 (5/40 %) men. The highest level of satisfaction was with the medical services (69%). The lowest level of satisfaction was with the physical space (20.5 %). In total, 50% of the patients showed satisfaction with the services provided in different hospital wards. Conclusion: The results showed a moderate level of satisfaction in different wards. The highest level of satisfaction was with the nursing and medical staff. Meeting patients’ expectations can increase their satisfaction.
